Ghost towns: Ciudad Valdeluz, empty streets
The ghost towns are a consequence of the economic and housing crisis, also known as "housing bubble" that Spain suffers from late 2007. When the housing market collapsed, all residential areas and other buildings that were being developed at that time were paralyzed as many construction companies ran out of money to continue the work. These buildings are unfinished today and are known as ghost towns. The photos below were taken in Ciudad Valdeluz (Guadalajara, Spain) in August 2012.
